Should you wish to apply to join the Committee of the Torry Army™, please contact Chairman Andy Hermida on 636 111 424, or General Secretary Paul Hurrell on 650 106 267 to let them know of your interest.
A fully completed application form (available from the Torry Army™ Office in San Luis) must be returned to the Chairman by Sunday 20th June 2009. No late applications will be accepted.
Any matters you wish to raise at the AGM must be submitted in writing to the Chairman by no later than Sunday 20th June 2009.
MATTERS ARISING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE, OR AT THE AGM ITSELF.

Who will have their name on our shirts?

More companies are joining the 200 club and thereby having the opportunity to see their company name on the F.C Torrevieja shirts for the coming season. Each has paid 200 Euros and hopes their name will be drawn when it comes to decide which company will be proudly adorning our strip for the 2009/2010 season . FC Torrevieja sign defender

FC Torrevieja are pleased to announce the signing of JESÚS MANUEL MORA MANZANO, a 29 year old defender who joins us from Crevillente. Manu as he is known by his shirt name has played for San Isidro and Tenerife B started his playing career with Athletico Madrid in their "C" team and has played in the under 15 and 16 Spanish International sides.

Torry have completed the signing of José Antonio González known on his shirt as "Chico" and comes to us from Preferente side Pilar De La Horadada.
Chico is 24 yrs of age and started his career playing for the Seville youth sides, from here he went to Xerez in the second division.He is 1.71 metres tall and plays in midfield either on the left or in the centre.

The FC Torrevieja Committee is pleased to announce that the Club´s Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2008/09 season will take place in the Library on the first floor at the main Sports Centre “Infanta Cristina” (which is situated opposite the Vicente Garcia Stadium) on
TUESDAY 14TH JULY 2009.

As per the Club’s statutes, we would ask all paid up members to be there for 8pm so that the meeting can start at 8.30pm. .

Please note that only Club Socios (Members) will be allowed entry to the meeting. ALL members will be required to produce their membership cards, valid for the 2008/9 season AND their DNI/NIE cards or their passports.

The agenda for the AGM will be as follows:

    Introduce the Committee for the 2009/10 season

    Present accounts for the 2008/9 season

    Present budget for the 2009/10 season

    Update re the squad for 2009/10 season

Pricing structure for the 2009/10 season

    Alterations to the Club’s Statutes, as required by the Valencian FA

Club announces season ticket prices

Torrevieja, 23rd June 2009

FC Torrevieja is pleased to announce season ticket and entry prices for next season, 2009/10, as well as prices for its Socios (Members).

Whilst making a decision on the pricing structure, the Board at FC Torrevieja has taken into account the harsh economic situation we are all facing and has therefore decided to lower its prices. On the other hand, FC Torrevieja is well aware that once again the manager has to create a squad good enough to compete at this level. The Club is also aware that it is required to meet its financial obligations which would not be possible without the backing of its sponsors and the Club´s magnificent supporters.

New for the forthcoming season, a “Young Person’s” season ticket. This will be available to anybody between the ages of 16 and 21and when this ticket is purchased you will be asked to produce your DNI/NIE or passport.

The prices for season tickets are as follows:

—General Season ticket (Men): 100 euro.

—General Season ticket (Ladies and 65 and over): 70 euro.

—VIP Season ticket: 120 euro.

—General Young Person (16 to 21 year olds): 50 euro. (You will need to produce your passport, DNI or NIE when you purchase this ticket AND every time you use this ticket at ALL matches).

—Match day prices will remain at last season’s cost - 10 and 7 euro respectively and 15 euro for the VIP area.

—The Club will continue with the initiative started last season whereby anybody that is unemployed and can produce the correct and valid paperwork to prove it, will be admitted to our home matches FREE OF CHARGE.

—Socio (Members) prices remain the same as last season. Renewal will cost 50 euro for existing members and new members will pay 100 euro.

—It has also been agreed that all Socios (Members) will receive a 10% discount on the price of their season tickets for the 2009/10 season as well as FREE entry when or if the Club calls a Dia del Club (Club Day). To be eligible for the 10% discount, you will need to renew your membership or became a member BEFORE or at the SAME time as you purchase your season ticket.

FC Torrevieja arrange game against La Liga side

FC Torrevieja are pleased to announce they are very close to confirming a pre-season game against La Liga side Almeria.
The game which will be played on either the 28th or 29th July will be held at the La Manga complex during Almeria's pre-season training.
Almeria finished 11th at the end of the 2008/09 season with a budget of 24 million euros and play at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos which has a capacity of
22,000

Ken Griffiths 91st birthday

FC Torrevieja fan Ken Griffiths is holding his 91st bithday celebration at Bar Piscina in Lago Jardin 1 on the Ctra San Miguel - Torrevieja Km 4 on Sunday 28th June from 1pm.
A Menu Del Dia, barbeque and drinks are available all day.
There will be raffle, games and merchandising for sale with proceeds and donations going to FC Torrevieja so Ken has asked for no presents

The 200 club gets underway

The Torry Army and club directors have started knocking on doors to find members to join the 2000 Club. This will result in one of these businesses having their name and logo on the FC Torrevieja shirts for the fortcoming season. Many companies think this is a great idea which gives them a sporting chance of being the name on our shirts for a modest outlay.

The scheme has just started and here is a list of the first batch of companies who thought this was such a bright scheme that they immediatley signed up and paid their 200 Euros. I am sure many others will be following suit to give themselves a chance at this fabulous prize. But for now, here are the companies who already have their name in the hat for this exceptional opportunity. As supporters of the club, we ask all our fans and members to use these companies when they can. Thank you.

FC Torrevieja are pleased to announce the signing of right midfielder Jose Antonio Fernández Pomares, known by hs shirt name "Josan"
Josan born 3/12/1989 in Crevillente is 19 years of age is a fast technical player and joins us from Pilar De La Horadada.

Green awaiting medical

Christian Green will again be part of the FC Torrevieja squad next season if he passes a club medical. Green who developed thrombosis at the latter end of last season has met with the manager and Directors and has agreed terms but will await the club medical before putting pen to paper
